Linda Shiflett

Director of Admissions

I am a proud 6th-generation Orlando native who enjoys quick getaways to the beach and long getaways to the Smoky Mountains. On the weekends, you can find me at my daughter’s softball games, cheering on her and the team, with a large cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee in my hand! I look forward to returning back to the University of Central Florida this upcoming summer to begin my journey in Grad School. Go Knights!! Overall, there is nothing more rewarding than being a part of The Transition House Inc, whose mission goes hand in hand with my passion. Exactly what is my passion? Helping those who the rest of society often puts on the back burner!

I am a New Jersey girl born and raised. I love NJ and NYC and miss being there, but I am getting comfortable with making Florida my home. with the love and support of my family and my TTH family.

I love my family and being grandma to my granddaughter who is also my BFF.

Sharing Italian traditions, especially for holidays, cooking, baking, and listening to old Italian music.

I am considered very open and direct at times. My passion is helping people, which led me to my profession, always being there for anyone in need.

Admissions Specialist

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California but have now made Florida my home. I have a hobby for crafting and going to theme parks. On my days off I enjoy spending time with my three beautiful kids and husband. I started with the Transition House in 2020 in the middle of the pandemic because I  truly wanted to make a difference in a difficult time and it was the best decision I have ever made. I love helping our clients and our community.
