Getting Involved

Be Part of Someone’s Recovery Journey

At The Transition House, we serve individuals and veterans working to rebuild their lives after homelessness, incarceration, substance use, and trauma. Many arrive with nothing but the clothes on their backs. What they need most is a safe, comfortable place to rest—and that starts with a mattress.

Why Your Donation Matters

Our current mattresses have served thousands on their journey to recovery, but years of use have taken a toll. We’re now working to replace them so every veteran has the chance to rest, recover, and rebuild in a space that feels clean and cared for.

We can’t do this alone. With the support of our community, we can give each resident the foundation they deserve—starting with a good night’s sleep. Every donation helps us provide new mattresses and create a healthier, more hopeful environment for those we serve.

Every $150 donation provides a brand-new mattress for someone starting over.
